Mill

Mill is a revolutionary home food recycling device from the founders of Nest. As Executive Creative Director, I helped develop and launch the brand while building a world-class internal creative team.

The Wonderful Feeling of Wasting Nothing

It’s what we’re selling at Mill. The relief from guilt. The surprise of looking into an empty garbage bin. The pride of knowing your kitchen is a force for good.

Make Food. Not Waste.

Our NYC debut was about positioning Mill as the essential tool for the modern waste-free kitchen. Make Food. Not Waste is a brazen imperative, with its roots in protest culture. It centers us in the kitchen and hinges on the art of cooking and entertaining.

Garbage Problems

Old-school garbage sucks — let us count the ways. This series of shorts explores its smells, leaks, stains, and general icks. And for every ick, Mill has an answer.

Sometimes, Big Change is Easy

Titanium paddles. Wi-Fi connected microprocessors. A half ton of net carbon avoided. But all you gotta know is how to drop a banana peel in our zero-waste basket. In this explainer/driver, we evoke advanced simplicity, a la early iPhone ads.
